We are a multigenerational church family, with everyone from babies to those in their 90s represented and warmly welcomed.
Around 150 people gather with us each week. You’ll find people dressed in a variety of ways, so please feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in when you visit.
Sunday Morning Service
Our services begin at 10:30am and are characterised by the reading and preaching of the Bible, prayer, passionate corporate singing, and friendly interaction with one another.
The music we sing is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of previous centuries and we find blessing in the contemporary songs of our day. Our preaching is expositional, meaning that we work through books of the Bible and seek to explain and apply the message of each passage.
The service usually finishes by 11:45am and is followed by refreshments and time to catch up with one another and meet new people.
Sunday Evening Service
Our evening service begins at 6pm where we gather to sing praise to God in song, read the Bible and pray. This is then followed by a sermon on the passage of the Bible we have just read. A typical service is finished by 7pm yet we’d encourage you to stick around a chat with the many who do the same and take time to talk and enjoy each other’s company.
Junior Church
Most Sundays, Junior Church runs during the morning service, with age-specific groups for children and young people aged 3–18. Creche facilities are also available. Occasionally, we hold “All Together” services, primarily around school holidays, where everyone remains together throughout the service and the format is adapted to meaningfully engage all ages.
Messy Church
On the second Sunday of each month, Messy Church takes the place of our regular Sunday evening service. Messy Church is designed especially for children and young families and aims to introduce Bible truths in an engaging way.
Beginning at 4:00pm, we spend time enjoying crafts, games, and activities based around a particular theme. This is followed by singing, interactive teaching, and a short Bible talk connected to the theme. The children then share a hot meal together.
Online
Both our morning and evening services are streamed live and available afterwards on our YouTube Channel ‘Eb On The Web’
This ministry is primarily intended to help those who are unable to attend in person remain connected and benefit from the teaching ministry of the church. While we’re thankful for the opportunities online ministry provides, we believe there is no substitute for gathering together in person, and we would love to welcome you to one of our services.
